Sheri B. Katzman joined Bassey and Selesko PLC in 2006 after 16 years of successful legal and business experience. She was a founding member of a successful financial planning business, with substantial experience and responsibility for employment matters, landlord tenant matters and a wide range of legal issues affecting closely held business. Previously she spent several years litigating matters at a large Detroit area law firm.

At Bassey and Selesko, Ms. Katzman focuses her practice on assisting small business owners, estate planning, employee relations and commercial litigation.

Sheri Katzman is admitted to practice before the United States District Court Eastern District of Michigan as well as all Michigan courts.

A magna cum laude graduate from the University of Detroit School of Law, Ms. Katzman was an associate editor of the Law Review, a member of the American Inn of Court, and was voted into Alpha Sigma Nu, a National Honor Society. She earned a B.S. degree from Michigan State University.

Ms. Katzman’s professional memberships include the State Bar of Michigan and the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan.

She has also presented seminars on employment law for businesses and professional organization.
